1. Our person in charge
The president is the person in charge of the protection of personal information at Lease Lane. For any questions: confidentialite@leaselane.ca. He approves our policies and ensures they are applied.
2. Roles and responsibilities
- Each team member accesses only the information needed for their tasks.
- Client owners receive only what concerns their building.
- Suppliers are bound by a written agreement.
3. Life cycle
We oversee every stage in the life of personal information: collection, use, disclosure, retention and destruction. Retention periods are listed in the table in section 10 of our Privacy Policy.
4. Privacy impact assessment
We carry out a privacy impact assessment before any system project that processes personal information, before any disclosure outside Québec and before adding a provider.
5. Confidentiality incidents
In the event of an incident, we take measures to reduce the risk of harm and record it in the incident register. If the incident presents a risk of serious harm, we notify the Commission d'accès à l'information and the persons concerned.
6. Training
The team is trained in personal information protection .
7. Complaints
To file a complaint, write to our person in charge at confidentialite@leaselane.ca. We acknowledge receipt of your complaint and respond in writing within 30 days. You may also contact the Commission d'accès à l'information (cai.gouv.qc.ca).
